KoKoRoGraphy Website

 

KoKoRoGraphy provides an online platform where you can connect with professional photographers to organize a unforgettable photo shoot in Japan, whether through our website or our mobile applications (“Platform”), which services are accessible at http://www.kokorography.com By using the Site or Application, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by the terms and conditions of these Terms of Conditions (“Terms”), whether or not you become a registered user of the Services. These Terms govern your access to and use of the Site, Application and Services and all Collective Content (defined below), and constitute a binding legal agreement between you and KoKoRoGraphy. Please also read carefully our Privacy Policy at http://kokorography.com/policy/. If you do not agree to these Terms, you have no right to obtain information from or otherwise continue using the Site, Application or Services. Failure to use the Site, Application or Services in accordance with these Terms may subject you to civil and criminal penalties.

Restriction of Materials

 

You may not reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute in any way any material from this Web Site without the prior written permission of KoKoRoGraphy. You may, however, download one copy of the material on a single computer for your own personal domestic and/or non-commercial use only, provided you keep intact all accompanying copyright and other proprietary notices. Graphics and images on this Web Site are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced or appropriated in any manner without the written permission of their relevant owners. Modification of any of the materials or use of the materials for any other purpose will be a violation of KoKoRoGraphy’s copyright and other intellectual property rights and the copyright and intellectual property rights of the respective owners.

Payment

 

Our photo packages are often listed in USD for the convenience of our international clients. While we do accept payments in USD, please be informed that all USD transactions will incur a 2% conversion fee.

 

If you opt to be billed in JPY, the conversion from USD to JPY will be based on the latest telegraphic transfer rate offered by local Japanese banks on the day of the transaction.

 

This approach ensures clarity and transparency in our pricing. Should any payment errors occur, albeit rare, they will be rectified promptly.

Cancellation Policy

 

We strongly recommend that clients check with their photographers in regards to date and expectation before making a booking. When your booking is preceded, your photographer reserves the date and time for the photoshoot. Because of this, we will refund the monies to you based on following cancellation policy when you make cancellation. Please contact info@kokorography.com.

 

Pre-Wedding Photo Shoot

 

More than 60 days before the photo shoot – 100% Refund

59 days – 30 days before the photo shoot    –   50% Refund

Less than 29 days before the photo shoot    –    No  Refund

 


Vacation Photo Shoot

 

For bookings made more than 2 months in advance:

More than 1 month before the photo shoot – 90% Refund

Less than 1 month before the photo shoot  –  No Refund

 

For bookings made less than 2 months in advance:

More than 72 hours before the photo shoot – 90% Refund

Less than 72 hours before the photo shoot   –  No Refund

 


Videography

Cancellation policy for videography depends on individual videographer. Please check with us for details.

Rescheduling Policy

 

If you need to reschedule the photoshoot, inform KoKoRoGraphy your alternative days via email. We will then check your photographer’s availability.

Weather Policy

 

We’re dedicated to capturing outstanding photos while ensuring your safety. Here’s how we handle weather challenges:

 

Rainy Days: Rain is no deterrent to us! Rainy days can unveil distinct photo opportunities:

  • Soft Lighting: Rain clouds cast a gentle, flattering light.
  • Fresh Nature: Plants appear vibrant and glistening.
  • Cool Reflections: Wet grounds create captivating reflections, adding depth to images.
  • Creative Elements: Features like raindrops, puddles, and umbrellas lend a playful twist to shots.

Pack your rain gear, and let’s embrace nature’s backdrop together!

 

Weather Monitoring & Decision: Our foremost goal is delivering professional-grade photos. The photographer monitors the weather forecast starting 3 days ahead of the shoot. A final decision, based on the most recent forecast, is confirmed 1 day prior. This considers:

  • The expected weather’s impact on photo quality.
  • Any conditions potentially affecting the shoot’s quality or safety.

 

Rescheduling & Refunds Due to Weather: Should we need to reschedule because of the weather and can’t find a suitable alternative date, a refund will be provided. This refund deducts any costs we can’t recover, like certain non-refundable fees for shooting locations.

 

Recommendation: To maneuver around Japan’s unpredictable weather, schedule your photo shoot earlier in your visit. It offers flexibility for any needed changes.

Late Arrival Policy

Punctuality ensures a smooth photo session, maximizing the time dedicated to capturing your special moments. Here’s what to know if things don’t go as planned:

 

Arrival Time: We recommend arriving a bit early for your session. It’s a great chance to familiarize yourself with the ambiance, maybe even enjoy a coffee nearby. This ensures you’re relaxed and ready for your session.

 

Late Arrival Consequences:

  • If you’re delayed, your session may need to be shortened, especially if the photographer has subsequent appointments.
  • A late fee applies 30 minutes post the scheduled start: USD 10 for every additional 15 minutes. This is only if the photographer can accommodate the delay.

 

Communication is Key: If you anticipate being late, please inform us at your earliest convenience. We’ll do our best to find a reasonable solution.

Remember, arriving early allows for a relaxed environment and ensures we capture the best moments without a rush.

International Shipping

 

Your country may require you to pay import fees, customs, duties and value added taxes (VAT), etc. which is not included in the price and shipping cost listed on our website. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.

 

KoKoRoGraphy will not replace or offer refunds for orders which are abandoned due to non-payment of taxes and fees required by your country.

 

There are some countries where we will not be able to ship any items to. If your photo shooting package is inclusive of photo album and we cannot ship it to your country, we will deduct the album price from the package rate.

Disclaimer

 

KoKoRoGraphy and the registered photographers will use its best endeavors in the performance of the Agreement. No warranty or fitness for the purpose is expressed or implied. The customer acknowledges that should mechanic failure, theft, accident or other circumstances, beyond KoKoRoGraphy and the registered photographers’ reasonable control, occur at any time preventing KoKoRoGraphy and the registered photographers’ fulfillment of the terms of this Agreement any resulting liability will be limited to a refund of the amount that has been paid.

Changes in Agreement

 

KoKoRoGraphy reserves the right with or without notice to the user at any time to change, modify or discontinue any service or a portion or attribute thereof, or the offering of any information, good, content, product or service. KoKoRoGraphy shall have no liability to any user or any third party should KoKoRoGraphy modify or discontinue service.
