Hi, I’m Josh.
I’m a Californian living in the beautiful seaside city of Itoshima in Fukuoka prefecture. I spent 12 years in Shanghai learning photography before moving to Japan in 2019. I learned to converse in Mandarin in China as well. I’m an international school teacher and freelance school photographer by trade, so I can help get some great reactions out of your kids during family photo sessions! I’ve worked with couples and families worldwide as they traveled through Shanghai and Fukuoka.
Fukuoka boasts some amazingly beautiful scenes in each season of the year. I know some fantastic, easy to reach places for your springtime sakura shoots, relaxing summer sessions on the beach or exciting nightlife shots in downtown Fukuoka!
