Q: Can we meet the photographer before our photo shoot day?
A: For vacation photo, you will meet the photographer on the day of the photo shoot at the shooting location. Until then, our KoKoRoGraphy concierge will help you prepare your fun vacation photo!

Q: Can we change our schedule in case of rain on the day of our shoot?
A: In many cases, shoot will be still on even with the rain. There is something so beautiful about a photo in the rain, thus we will make adjustment to capture a perfect rainy photography. If you would like to reschedule to another day, please let us know at least 1 day prior to your photoshoot. We’ll check your photographer’s availability. If replacement shoot cannot be scheduled, we will refund the full amount after subtracting processing fee.
Q: How do we get in touch with the photographer?
A: 2 days prior to your photo shoot, KoKoRoGraphy will create a group chat using LINE or WhatsAPp including the photographer. You will be able to communicate with him/her there for smooth communication on the day of the photo shoot!
Q: Is there anything we should prepare on the day?
A: Nothing particular, just show up to the specified meeting point and you are all set to start the fun photo shoot!
Q: How do we meet the photographer on the day of the photo shoot?
A: Once the booking is confirmed, the photographer will pick a specific location to meet. In case you need to contact the photographer, please contact via the group chat that was created.
Q: Do we need to pay for anything on the day of photoshoot?
A: Please be prepared to pay any expense incurred during shoot such as train, taxi, entrance fee, etc at shooting spots.
Q: How many photos are included for a vacation photo shoot?
A: It will depend on which package you choose.
30 minutes photo session – 15 photos
1 hour photo session – 30 photos
2 hour photo session – 60 photos
4 hour photo session – 120 photos
Photographers will be taking more photos but he/she will select the best shots for you. If you have a shot that you definitely want, let us know!
Q: Can we rent a Kimono for the photo shoot?
A: Yes, KoKoRoGraphy can assist you in arranging rental kimono. Please take a look at our blog on different types of kimono. Although it depends on the rental shops, rental casual kimono is around JPY6,000 for a couple.
Q: Can we bring our own dress/outfits from other studio or shop?
A: Yes of course. Please let us know in advance. That being said, we do not recommend wearing wedding dress with vacation photo. This is because with vacation photo, there is no assistant crew to help you with the dress during the photo shoot. As long as the dress is simple, we are ok!

Q: What is the difference between vacation photo and pre-wedding photo?
A: Vacation photo is a casual photoshoot for those who wants to capture their vacation in Japan, whether it is a single traveler, couple, family, or friends.
On the other hand, if you would like to have one and only portfolio tailored just for you with escorted stylist and transportation, pre-wedding photo might be a good fit. Great way to document your engagement days or for a very special wedding anniversary.
Q: How long do we have to wait until we see our photos?
A: You’ll receive an online gallery within 5 business days for you to download.
Q: What kind of data do we receive?
A: The final data format will be JPEG. The data will be captured as RAW format and will be transformed to JPEG format after the editing work by your photographer.

A: The photographer will upload your photos via personalized online gallery. Online gallery will allow you to view, share on social media sites, and download in different sizes (original high resolution to low resolution for smart phones).
Q: Will you share our photos online or in public without our permission?
A: No. Whether you want to share your photos online or not is absolutely up to you. Written consent should be submitted to us as a permission to load your photos online.
Q: Is there any additional charge for holiday or weekend for the vacation photo?
A: No. Our rate for vacation photo is same regardless of holiday and weekend. We do recommend weekday photoshoot to avoid the crowd though!

There is something so beautiful about a photo in the rain thus we will make adjustment to capture a perfect rainy wedding photography! In the case of extreme weather condition such as thunderstorm or heavy rain is expected, please let us know your decision at least 3 days prior to your photoshoot. We’ll check your photographer’s availability to reschedule. If replacement shoot cannot be scheduled, we will refund the full amount after subtracting processing fee. Please note that some fees may not be recovered such as rental car cost.

A: If rain continued many days and you run out of days in your schedule, we will give a full refund. Please take note that our customer support and photographers will do our best to arrange photo shoot, which minimize the exposure to the rain.

Q: How long will our photos and album be available after our pre-wedding photo shoot?
A: Photos will be available within 30 days. As for the photo album, it will take 3-4 months in average. Photographer will work on photo editing, layout, and design.
Q: How do we select final photos for our wedding album?
A: It’s up to you. You can select yourself or the photographer can choose for you. In this case, the photographer will confirm his/her selection with you before printing.
Q: Do you edit photos?
A: Yes, all photographers offer basic editing services (brightness and color balance) for all photos. For more details including special retouch, please check photographers’ policies.
Q: How do we receive our photos/albums?
A: For the photos, you will receive them via online gallery. Using the online gallery, you will be able to download in many sizes and also share it with your family and friends! For hard copy album, it will be delivered to your preferred address.
Q: Can we get soft copies first before receiving photo albums?
A: Of course! While photo albums are being made, soft copies will be available online for you to view in 30 days after the shoot depending on your choice of package.

A: We understand your concern. We are aware of hidden cost issues in pre-wedding photo industry. As stated in “our philosophy”, we will be transparent with our rates. All costs will be clearly stated prior to booking. However, additional costs such as entrance fee, parking cost may incur on the photo shooting day. Such estimated amount will be discussed during planning stage.
