15 Sep One Day trip to Kamakura this Fall
If you have several days in Tokyo, I recommend going on a day trip to Kamakura.
Kamakura is only about 1 hour away from Shinjuku but you will be surprised by the authentic atmosphere you can experience in Kamakura.
It is a great change from the busy city of Tokyo and you can enjoy a walk in a historical town of Kamakura this fall.
Autumn in Kamakura generally starts in mid November lasting until mid December. Due to the warm weather compared to Tokyo, the leaves start to color later than those in Tokyo.
Here are some must go spot when you are visiting Kamakura in autumn.
1. Enkakuji Temple (円覚寺)
Peak: Mid November- Early December
